- Learn the basic structure of English sentences, including simple sentences composed of subject-verb-complement, and learn about "be" verbs.
- Explore more complex categories of common words, unlock the Listening Challenge, practice reading books independently, and understand more complex sentence structures.
Read harder words and learn more expressions used in daily conversations.
Discover various words and expressions used in daily conversations. Ask simple questions and answer yes/no questions in complete sentences. Master 44 phonics rules by the end of this stage!
- Learn to ask and answer questions to practice conversations with friends. Read more books and improve reading comprehension! Learn advanced phonics and basic grammar.
- Learn to express thoughts and feelings in short sentences. Understand short and long vowels to enhance reading and spelling. Expand vocabulary on various topics.
- Read books with longer sentences and learn to infer the meanings of unfamiliar words from context. Build vocabulary on a wider range of topics, and continue to practice and apply advanced phonics and sentence syntax.
- Comprehend simple stories and texts, answer specific questions about key details, and retell the plot in sequence. This level aligns with typical reading and writing skills for students in the 1st grade.

Compose sentences using adjectives, adverbs, and modifiers to provide more detailed descriptions of people and things. Learn to ask and answer questions politely when interacting with teachers and adults. Practice making regular and irregular plurals to expand your language skills.

- Learn to describe actions, people, places, and things using more complex sentences and modifiers. Practice asking and answering questions with more fluency.
- Enhance your grammar skills by learning more advanced sentence structures. Compose sentences using "this," "that," "these," and "those" as both pronouns and determiners, depending on context.

Learn to communicate about time, frequency, and location. Familiarize yourself with irregular plural nouns and learn to describe the quantity of both countable and uncountable items.
